In-game

The Revolver is a firearm found in SCP: Secret Laboratory that is primarily used by the Chaos Repressors. The weapon is very useful as a sidearm though with the right set up it can act as a long range weapon. The weapon's power allows it to easily perform one tap headshots.

The Revolver spawns on Chaos Shotgunners as a secondary weapon. To fire one must hold down Left Click for 0.1s. Simply pressing Left Click will make the Revolver not fire.
The Revolver will always one tap headshot any human player that isn't wearing armor. By default the weapon has 65% armor penetration, making it somewhat effective against foes with armor. With the .44 AP Mag attachments the penetration is increased to 85%, making it extremely effective against foes with armor. Equpping the .44 AP Mag with either the Medium or Long Barrel will allow the Revolver to always one tap human player heads, regardless of armor being worn. The default .44 FMJ bullets, can not one tap headshot players wearing any armor unless that armor is the Guard Armor, even then the Revolver must have the Long Barrel to do so.

The Revolver has two modes, Double-Action and Single-Action. By default the Revolver is in Double-Action mode. When in Double-Action mode, the player must hold Left Click for 0.1s to fire. If the player presses Middle Click, the Revolver switches to Single-Action mode. In Double-Action mode the Revolver's hammer will automatically. If the player simply presses Left Click while in Double-Action mode instead of holding it down for 0.1s, the Revolver will simply not fire.
In Single-Action mode the Revolver no longer has a fire delay and is much more accurate. The downside being that the player must now manually cock the Revolver's hammer with Middle Click each time they want to fire, which causes a slower firerate overall.

The Revolver has three different chambers, the default 6 chamber with 6 FMJ bullets, the 4 chamber with 4 AP bullets and the 8 chamber, which contains 8 FMJ bullets but causes the 0.1s fire delay to be increased.

With the right setup, the Revolver can act as a powerful, primary weapon with long range that can one tap headshot any target, but with the downside of being heavy, only 4 bullets and extended drawside making it extremely ineffective as a sidearm or in close combat.

The Revolver's ammo is fairly limited, as ammo used for firearms Chaos Insurgents spawn with, can not be found throughout Site-02. So the only way to gain more ammo is to pick it up from deceased teammates or using SCP-914.
