Description
The Workstation is a type of Structure found in SCP: Secret Laboratory. Workstations are an immovable object which allows players to add or remove attachments from their Weapons.
In Game
To operate a Workstation, the player needs E to turn on the Workstation, this takes about five seconds. Once active, the Workstation will show available attachment options to add to any Foundation firearms the player has equipped. Any firearms that are not issued by the Foundation, such as the Logicer or Revolver, can not be upgraded with the Workstations. The only way to change their attachments is with the attachment menu that can only be used in spectator mode.
Multiple players can make use of the workstation at once, and it will show each person their own menu and options.
Spawning
Guaranteed Spawn locations
Workstations will always spawn in these locations Light Containment Zone
- Two are located in the LCZ Armory.
- One Workstation is found in the HCZ Armory.
- A second workstation is found in the armory in SCP-049's room.
- Another Workstation can be found in the Micro HID Armory.
- The fourth Workstation is found in the Alpha Warhead Silo.
- One Workstation can be found at both Gate A and Gate B.
- A second one is found at the Evacuation Shelter.
- The third Workstation is located in the Walkway Office at the upper level of the room.
- The single Workstation is located in the Nuke Room.
Possible Spawn Locations
These locations are places where a Workstation may sometimes spawn. Light Containment Zone
- Side room in SCP-173's chamber.
- Glass Room
- The Garden Chamber
Attachments
There are three types of attachments.
Sight Attachments, which include scopes and holo sights.
Barrel Attachments, which include silencers, heavy barrels and muzzle boosters.
Other Attachments, which include flashlights and ammo counters.
All guns except the Logicer can have attachments applied, this is mostly likely due to the fact that the attachments are made by the Foundation and the Logicer is a gun the Foundation doesn't use. Meaning the Foundation would not develop attachments for it.
