The .44 Revolver (or just Revolver) is a type of Firearm found in SCP: Secret Laboratory. Its high firepower makes it effective at killing some targets in only one hit, though its slow fire rate makes it less effective against large groups.

Operational Guide

A specialist Insurgency sidearm, reserved only for their most accurate sharpshooters. A single, well-aimed shot of its .44 magnum cartridge will kill instantly.

In Game

The .44 Revolver is a very powerful and useful sidearm, capable of instantly killing any human player that isn't wearing Armor. By default the weapon has 65% armor penetration, making it somewhat effective against armored foes. With the .44 AP Mag attachments, bullet penetration is increased by 85%, making it extremely effective against foes with armor. Equipping the .44 AP Mag with either the Medium or Long Barrel attachment will allow the Revolver to always one tap human player heads, regardless of what armor they are wearing (or not).

The Revolver has two modes: Double-Action and Single-Action. By default the Revolver is in Double-Action mode. When in Double-Action mode, the Revolver has a firedelay of 0.1s. If the player presses  Middle  Click, the Revolver switches to Single-Action mode. In Single-Action mode the Revolver much is more accurate and no longer has a 0.1s firedelay. The downside of this mode is that the player has to manually cock the Revolver's hammer with  Middle  Click each time they want to fire in this mode, thus giving an overall lower fire-rate.

The Revolver's rounds are fairly limited, as only Chaos Marauders spawn with them, and can be found nowhere else within Site-02. Therefore, the only way to gain more Revolver rounds is to pick them up from deceased Chaos Insurgents, or using SCP-914.
Holding down the E key on a player with the firearm equipped will disarm the player.

  • The Revolver's trigger originally had to be manually held down for 0.1s in Double-Action mode for the weapon to fire.
